The Business Development Officer - Hospitality will be responsible for onboarding hotel partners, managing partner relationships, ensuring inventory and content accuracy, and driving booking performance through effective coordination, quality control, and data-driven execution. The role plays a key part in strengthening hospitality partnerships and optimizing hotel visibility and sales on the platform.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in hospitality, partnerships, or business development
Job Description
1. Hotel Onboarding & Quality Assurance
- Identify, approach, and onboard new hotel partners as per business targets.
- Ensure accurate and complete uploading of hotel details including rates, amenities, policies, and images.
- Follow standardized onboarding checklists to maintain compliance and quality standards.
- Monitor and reduce onboarding and content-related errors through regular reviews.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve onboarding or system-related issues.
2. Partner Relationship Management
- Maintain regular communication with hotel partners through calls, meetings, and field visits.
- Conduct monthly partner engagement and performance review discussions.
- Address partner queries, concerns, and operational issues within defined TAT.
- Work towards improving partner satisfaction and retaining top-performing hotels.
- Build long-term partnerships to support mutual growth and revenue objectives.
3. Inventory, Pricing & Content Management
- Ensure timely updates of hotel inventory, room availability, and blackout dates.
- Monitor rate accuracy and coordinate with partners to maintain competitive pricing.
- Review and enhance hotel content quality including images, amenities, and descriptions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve hotel visibility and booking conversion.
- Track booking performance and identify opportunities for growth.
4. Data Reporting, Analysis & Weekly Performance Review
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly performance reports related to hotel onboarding and bookings.
- Analyze performance data, identify trends, and highlight variances.
- Share conversion insights and recommendations with relevant stakeholders.
- Propose and support process improvements based on data findings.
- Ensure data accuracy and timely reporting for informed decision-making.
