Banking Relationship Officer

A Banking Relationship Officer is responsible for managing and developing strong client relationships, acquiring new clients, and promoting the bank’s financial products and services. 

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or a related field
    (Preference will be given to candidates holding a Master’s degree)
  • 3-4 years of experience in the relevant field.
  • Experience with CRM systems and financial tools is a plus.

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Serve as a reliable financial advisor, offering appropriate advice and solutions.
  • Identify, engage, and acquire prospective clients to grow the portfolio.
  • Plan and execute outreach strategies to expand the client base.
  • Deliver product presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Oversee client acceptance and onboarding procedures in compliance with policies.
  • Ensure a seamless and professional onboarding experience.
  • Handle client queries and provide consistent support for account servicing.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all banking products and services, including Deposits, Loans, Insurance, Investment solutions and Remittance services
  • Recommend financial products tailored to client needs and goals.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell products and services.
  • Contribute to achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Support business growth through effective relationship management.
  • Ensure all client transactions adhere to regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and manage client risk profiles, taking appropriate actions to mitigate risk.
